When  engaged, the Argus will fire a cloud of hundreds of little 'eyelets' (hence the name); flattened pellets of tungsten laced with iridium, designed to fracture on impact, filling the air in front of boarders with a cloud of whirling and ricocheting razor fragments. Designed to disorient and break formations and cover as much as to lacerate exposed flesh.

The over-sized magazine can carry up to one hundred cartridges of these deadly little projectiles with 100-150 eyelets per cartridge.

The auxiliary barrels can also fire kòmos and flash rounds if required.
